BRITTANY ASKEW

Hello there! Thank you so much for stopping by to check out my work. I have an extensive professional career, most recently being a Senior Designer, Workwear for Dickies.  I currently live in Fort Worth with my husband, two daughters, and senior toy poodle and have called the DFW area home for the past 2o years, but I am not a native Texan (gasp!)

I grew up in Fargo, North Dakota (yes, like the movie) and moved down to Texas to attend TCU, where I got my Bachelor's in Fashion Merchandising. I also have an Associate's and a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from the Art Institute in Dallas. 

I have experience designing Men's, Women's, and Kids apparel and am very passionate about solving problems for the consumer. I believe that the more you know about what they do, how and why they wear their clothes, and what motivates them to buy, you can create a product that they can't live without. 

I am a loyal employee and experienced manager. I believe that everybody has potential and strive to create a working environment where all ideas are welcome and voices are heard, while still maintaining calendars and sticking to deadlines. 

I am a creative at heart, but also have a strong business acumen. I pride myself on meeting company financial goals, streamlining processes to save time and money, and creating concise collections that best serve the customer and brand.
